Youth League Football Dawgs go 3-1 at Chesapeake; Travel out Wayne Saturday

Chesapeake, Ohio — Lawrence Co. youth league football went took three out of four games on the road from Chesapeake this past Saturday. 

Lawrence Co. 46 Chesapeake 24 ( A-Team ) 

In the first game of the day the Dawgs improved to 2-0 on the year. 

Carson Evans had two touchdown passes and rushed for a 15 yard TD, Keagan Muncy caught one touchdown of 38 yards from Evans and a 50 yard touchdown run, Jace Napier had two touchdown runs of 16 and 43 yards, Levi Hensley hauled in a 20 yard touchdown reception from Evans. 

Evans added 3 two point conversion runs, tossed one to Cole Hutton, Napier had a two point conversion. 

Evans ended up 11 of 17 for over 200 yards. 

Brother Fitzpatrick had two catches of 37 and 29 yards. 

Lawrence Co. 20 Chesapeake 0 ( B-Team ) 

In the second game of the day the Bulldogs shutout the Panthers and moved to 2-0 on the season. 

Lawrence Co. 14 Chesapeake 2 ( C-Team ) 

In the third game of the day the Bulldogs stayed perfect at 2-0 on the young season. 

Colton Bentley scored from both sides of the football with a long touchdown run, a pick six on defense and added a two point conversion as well, Korbhyn Dawson also scored a touchdown for the Dawgs. 

Chesapeake 6 Lawrence Co. 0 ( D-Team ) 

In the final game of the day the Dawgs lost a tough to the Panthers and fell to 1-1 on the year. 

The Bulldogs will travel out Wayne this Saturday to battle the Pioneers. First game will begin at 10:00.
