I often post the beautiful pictures as I walk these trails. Now, as
the lake drops for winter pool, the ugly side is revealed This is
just one small snapshot of the filth from our lake! It is, short of a
third world country, the most trash filled lake I have walked
around! If we don’t do something soon, we will never get this
under control! We need a shoreline cleanup, and soon
This is the person’s responsibility that runs the lake. I agree its bad. The main Ranger needs to kick some butt and get his/her workers off their asses and do some work. The swimming area at the rock is a disgrace. Trash cans full for weeks. Im sure someone is getting paid to get things done. Thanks Amy. The Lake management has the resources just too lazy to use them.
This is sad. I realize it’s the off season but this needs took care of soon. Whoever is in charge is being neglectful.
You can also see the abundance of trash in the water along the shore lines in the summer. Someone is definitely not doing their job.
Such a shame this lake is turning into trash trap, right now is the time to walk the shore line and pick up the trash and start cleaning!
This doesn’t surprise me any!!!! Has anyone taken a hard look along the county roads? Oh my, it’s bad!!! The trash thrown into the water or out of a vehicle IS NOT the park ranger’s or county judge’s responsibility to pick it up. It should not be thrown out there in the first place. It’s time people take personal responsibility for their own actions and quit saying ‘someone else can pick it up’.
They have all kinds of equipment. They never use it. No one gets out of the office or the garage. No wonder the main person, Ranger or whatever they’re called, is usually from another state until they move closer to where they’re from. They take no pride because thier not from here.
Aren’t they State employees?
I would look more at the stream (s) that feed the lake. It could be the root cause or a major part of the problem. Or perhaps KAG is doing it! 🙂
