M.J. Cordle and his birthday cake. He is 95.
“…We were blessed to celebrate M J Cordle’s (our neighbor) 95th Birthday with him. He is a WWII veteran serving in the 8th Air Force. He received the European Theater of Operations with 7 Battle Stars medal, Presidential Unit Citation with Oak Leaf Cluster medal, Airplane Armors medal and Good Conduct medal 25 mos overseas. He really enjoyed talking history. Not many of this generation left but we will never forget the sacrifices that were made for our freedom. He is the uncle of singer/songwriter Larry Cordle.”
