William “Bill” England, 88, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 23, 2022 at his home. Bill was born December 14, 1934 in Snowflake, WV to the late Thorton and Helen England.

Bill retired as an Operations Supervisor from AEP after many years of service. He loved to golf, go fishing, travel and enjoyed bowling in the power plant league. He was a member of Louisa Rotary Club, a volunteer at Eagle Ridge Golf Course and previously served on the Lawrence County Library Board and the Water Commission Board.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents; wife Joan England; and siblings Betty Ruth Taggert and Jim England. Survivors include his children Doug England and David (Jill) England; grandchildren Austin England, Grace England, Sarah England, and Rachel England; and sister Helen Imbrock.

A memorial service will be conducted on January 14, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Chuck Price officiating.  Friends may visit the family on January 14, 2023 from 12:30 PM until time of service.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. England and his family.
