Willard Jr. Runyon, Age 70, of Van Buren Township. Died at his residence, early Thursday morning, August 1, 2019.

Willard is the beloved husband of Linda for three wonderful years: loving father of Michele (Steve) Pendleton of Canton; Stepfather of Richard and Tracy Henderson beloved grandfather of Ashley and Kaylee: Loving Step Grandfather of Chelsea, Nick, Justin, India, Nicole, and Sara. Cherished Great Grandfather of Ashlynn, Braelynn, and Iyonna.

Mr. Runyon is also survived by his sisters, Rose Fisher of Kentucky, O’ Reitha (Paul) Akers of Kentucky, Betty (Bob) Boyd of Kentucky, Debbie Fitch of Kentucky and Margaret (Dale) Whitt of Kentucky and his dog, “Lucy”. Sadly, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Sandra (d.2015). 

A longtime resident of Redford, Willard retired from the Ford Motor Company in 2000, where he spent many years at the Wayne Assembly plant. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, the outdoors and spending time with his family. He will be truly missed. 

Visitation hours have been arranged for Saturday, August 3rd, from 2-8 PM at the David C. Brown Funeral Home of Belleville. 734-697-4500. 

Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, August 5, 2019 at 1PM at Belles Chapel FWB Church with Rev. Ronnie Spriggs officiating.  

Following visitation, Mr. Runyon will be carefully transported to his native Kentucky for interment by his parents, Oscar and Ethel Runyon. 

In lieu of customary tributes, memorial contributions may be directed to the charity of choice.

Thank you for keeping the Runyon family in your thoughts and prayers at this sad time
