SUSPECT WAS ON HOME CONFINEMENT…
Sheriff Rick Thompson stated that Clay McCoy, of Crum, was arrested by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department on multiple drug charges.
Sheriff Thompson stated that Deputies, the K9 Unit, and Fort Gay PD went to the residence of Clay with Home Confinement officers. Officers located distribution quantities of Crystal Methamphetamine, Marijuana, Gabapentin, and Suboxone.
Clay is charged with several Possession with Intent to Deliver charges and Pseudoephedrine Altered.
Clay was on Home Confinement from a 2018 drug conviction after an investigation by the WCSD Drug Enforcement Unit.
During the investigation members of the Wayne County Sheriff Drug Enforcement Unit made (2) under cover Controlled buys of Oxycodone from Clay.
