(6/19/19) Sheriff Rick Thompson stated that the US Marshals Cuffed Task Force arrested (5) people today for felony drug warrants, parole violations, and probation violations.
Sheriff Thompson stated that Dennis Ferguson, of Prichard, was arrested on two felony drug warrants from an investigation by the Wayne County Sheriff Drug Enforcement Unit. The WCSD Drug Enforcement Unit made a traffic stop on a vehicle Dennis was in and located a distribution quantity of Crystal Methamphetamine from his underwear.
Justice Staley, of Prichard, was arrested for a probation violation.
Luke Dingess, of Fort Gay, was arrested for a parole violation.
Frank ‘Willie’ Caudill, of Crum, was arrested for a probation violation.
Sheriff Thompson stated that all (4) men were either on probation or parole for drug convictions from investigations by the Wayne County Sheriff Drug Enforcement Unit.
Sheriff Thompson stated that Karl Eldred, of East Lynn, was arrested for a possession with Intent to Deliver warrant that stemmed from an investigation by the WCSD Drug Enforcement Unit.
Sheriff Thompson stated that yesterday Carrie Woods, of Louisa, was arrested for a felony possession of Crystal Methamphetamine warrant issued after an investigation by the WCSD Drug Enforcement Unit.
