Wayne County Schools Social Studies Fair Hosts Math Field Day

Wayne County Schools had the Math Field Day competitions throughout the county recently.  Elementary competitions were held on December 5, middle school competitions were held on December 8, and high school competitions were held on December 11, 2023.  Each school sent their top math students to compete with the winning students going on to represent Wayne County Schools in the Regional Math Field Day Competition at Marshall University in March 2024.  The winning students in grades 4-12 are as follows:

4th Grade –

  1. 1.Grayson Osborne – Wayne Elementary School
  2. 2.Dylan Napier – Prichard Elementary School
  3. 3.Kyle Adkins – Ceredo-Kenova Elementary School

Alternate – Quincy Davis – Kellogg Elementary School

5th Grade –

  1. 1.Braxton Perdue – Ceredo-Kenova Elementary School
  2. 2.Lymar Lahouel – Kellogg Elementary School
  3. 3.Jace Falls – Ceredo-Kenova Elementary School

     Alternate – Logan Fraley – Prichard Elementary School

6th Grade –

  1. 1.Scout Maynard – Buffalo Elementary School
  2. 2.Jeffrey Moore – Ceredo-Kenova Elementary School
  3. 3.Jace Hager – Buffalo Elementary School

Alternate – Jarred Hanshaw – Ceredo-Kenova Middle School

 

7th Grade –

  1. 1.Brayden Davis- Ceredo-Kenova Middle School
  2. 2.Ashton Muncy – Crum Pk8 School
  3. 3.Piper Lewis – Buffalo Middle School

Alternate – Jude Lynch – Buffalo Middle School

8th Grade –

  1. 1.Michael Braylen Stumbo – Fort Gay Pk8 School
  2. 2.Nathan Do – Ceredo-Kenova Middle School
  3. 3.Zander Gwinn – Vinson Middle School

Alternate – Brody Wolfe – Buffalo Middle School

9th Grade –

  2. 2.Katherine Dowis – Spring Valley High School
