Sheriff Rick Thompson stated that Doliver ‘Ray’ Adkins was arrested today by the Wayne County Sheriff Drug Enforcement Unit and Road Patrol.
Sheriff Thompson stated that the Wayne County Sheriff Drug Enforcement Unit first received tips on Doliver several years ago but he has been illusive.
Doliver is charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance – Heroin, Conspiracy to Distribute Heroin, Possession with Intent to Deliver- Heroin, and Cultivation of Marijuana.
Doliver was taken into custody on a traffic stop and ended with his residence being searched. During the investigation Heroin was seized and (44) Marijuana plants.
Sheriff Thompson would like to thank the citizens for providing tips.

It’s always going to be someone’s family member. He doesn’t know you, but he would have given you the shirt off of his back for you. Anyone that knows him would say that. The cops act like they found the heroin drug king. Well they didn’t – not even close – stupid cops! It actually makes me laugh. He hasn’t been in hiding, so he isn’t ‘illusive’ as they claim. Yeah, they’re real reliable. Let’s look at the black people some of them have recently killed for no reason. They mess up all the time because most cops have a low IQ. Yes, that’s proven; do the research. He’s a user. Guess why? Many people abused pills which was only brought on by big Pharma who was allowed to do so by our government in the beautiful state of WV and other states! They ran their pill mill and got out in time for gangs to bring in the H. Yes, people with opioid addictions are now being awarded money and recovery services because they won a huge civil suit against Big Pharma; do the research. Eventually, the dumb asses in their comfy government seats made it very hard for doctors to actually prescribe pain medicine to people who really needed it. My father did, but nope because he is a veteran (you’re welcome for my father’s service!) and has to go to the VA, they would only give him minimal pain medicine if any at all because they are very strict. He had a knee-replacement surgery that went wrong and needed another one that was canceled due to COVID-19. He has horrific pain and unfortunately decided to self medicate. Please don’t tell me you are a Christian because that will embarrass me as I am one. Only God should judge – not you Jennifer!! Go back to your perfect little life. I pray that none of your family members become H addicts because it’s scary and sad! But please keep in mind, we have a very liberal media in this country and they can say whatever, hence the reason we have all heard so many differing ‘facts’ about COVID-19. He wasn’t selling, but yes he did buy some for his ‘friends’ and that’s what those lame charges are all about!
