Walter Burchett, 80, of Louisa, KY died Sunday, September 16, 2018 at his home.
Walter was born June 8, 1938 in Lawrence County to the late Orville and Sadie (Adkins) Burchett. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Anna Lea Burchett; his siblings Paul Ray Burchett, Shirley DeBord, William Burchett, and Clyde Burchett.
Survivors include his children Penny Stambaugh, Mary Prince, Sandra Setser, and Dave Burchett; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and siblings Emmitt Burchett, Nellie Levering, Wanda Sue Welch, Nannie Belle Stewart, and Ronnie Burchett Jr.
A graveside service will be conducted on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Burchett Cemetery with Brother Bobby Workman officiating.
Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Burchett.
