Louisa, Ky. — After a rough start to the season the VolleyDawgs made quick work of Magoffin Co. ( 0-5 ) on Thursday night in straight sets ( 25-6, 25-8, 25-9 ) to pick up their first win of the season.
Lawrence Co. ( 1-5 ) has played a tough schedule to start the season and the schedule doesn’t get much easier the rest of the way. The VolleyDawgs have played Betsy Layne, Floyd Central, Russell, Boyd Co. and Fairview who have combined to win 20 games so far on the young season.

“… The girls played great last night but they really wasn’t under any pressure. They need to challenge themselves and learn to overcome those challenges under pressure.” Tough schedule will be good for us. Makes the team better even with losses. I would rather them be challenged to play their best. Than to win easy!”
