Vivian Opal Caudill

1926 – 2016

Vivian Opal Caudill, 89, of Louisa, Ky. passed on to her eternal resting home on Sunday, May 1, 2016.

She was preceded in death in 2006 by her beloved husband of 60 years, Harold Caudill.

Opal was born in Webbville, Ky., December 1, 1926, the daughter of the late Dewey and Lena Murphy Hensley. She was a homemaker and a member of the United Baptist Church.

Opal was a devoted mother and grandmother to her three daughters, Julia Caudill-Buchanon of Louisa, Deborah (Leslie) Peck of Louisa, and Sandra (Roger) Leedy of Fort Gay, and her only son James (Cindy) of Fort Gay, 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren.

Additional survivors include four sisters, Martha Jane Moore, of Louisa, Irene Mulkey, of Grayson, Patty Blevins, of Webbville, Geraldine Withers, of Martinez, GA, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at Young Funeral Home in Louisa, Ky from 6pm – 9pm on Tuesday, May 3, 2016.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 11AM Wednesday, May 4 at the Young Funeral Home Chapel.
