Virginia J. Monti, 90 of Louisa, Mother of Andrea (Dale) Riffe, passed away November 22, 2019, following a brief illness.

Virginia was born November 3, 1929 in Apollo, Pennsylvania to the late Carmelo “Charles” Manuli and Mary F. Ameno Manuli. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Colon and Nancy McLarney and her husband and friend, Lazaro Monti.

Virginia is survived by her brother, Anthony J. Manuli, daughter, Andrea (Dale) Riffe, two grandsons, Jared Riffe and Matthan Riffe, several nieces and nephews.

Virginia was a graduate of Apollo High School (1947), West PA Hospital School of Nursing (1952) acquiring a degree in nursing, Marymount Manhattan College and California State University, graduating with a master’s degree in counseling psychology. She had the opportunity to travel extensively around the world and lived in New York, Ventura, California and Boca Raton, Florida.

Virginia symbolized her dedication to Jehovah God, and was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on July 14, 1973. She was a member of the local Louisa Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, December 1 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Point Section, Louisa, KY.

Friends may visit the family one hour prior to the service at the Kingdom Hall. Memorials may be made to the Worldwide Work of Jehovah’s Witnesses www.jw.org.

All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
