Virginia Frances Hayes

Virginia Frances Cox Hayes, 82, of Newtazwell, TN passed away Monday, February 20, 2017 at Tennova Medical Center in La Loffette, TN.

Virginia was born January 28, 1935 in Louisa, Kentucky a daughter of the late Henry Bascomb and Manerva Jane See Cox. She was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her first husband, Milton L. Hayes; second husband, Johnny Jackson; three grandchildren, Phillip Cox, Crystal Cox and Lisa Cox; four brothers, Bernie Cox, Jack Cox, Ralph Cox and Joe Cox; one sister, Betsy Johns.

Survivors include her children, Greg Cox of Lincoln Park, MI.; Billie Frances Jenny Hayes of San Francisco, CA; Mark Hayes of Flat Lick, Ky.; Cara Hayes of Newtazwell, TN; Ralph (Connie) Hayes of Alvin, TX; Judith Ann (Michael) West of Fourmile, Ky.; one sister, Mary Rose Hawthorne of Barboursville, WV.; 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Thursday, February 23, 2017 at the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Chuck Price officiating. Burial will follow at the See Cemetery, Louisa, Kentucky.

Visitation will be 6:00 until 9:00 pm Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at the Young Funeral Home Chapel.
