Cannonsburg’s Flying J your gonna hate us before it’s done…DO NOT DISRESPECT OUR U.S. VIETNAM VETERANS OR OUR OLE GLORY…lll% –Adam J. Conn

Commander Adam J. Conn and his fellow Vietnam vets group became upset recently when the manager of Flying J’s Truck Stop at Cannonsburg ordered his group to take down their flags from their property during a Rolling Vietnam memorial rally.

Conn said in a statement sent to The Lazer from Wanda Cassady this morning that the vets are planning another rally at Flying J’s this coming Sunday to protest the Truck Stop manager’s actions…

You can see the video from Mr. Conn HERE.

Flying J TRUCK STOP WON'T ALLOW FLAGS ON PROPERTY

The home company for Flying J’s sent the following explanation for the manager’s actions:

Jim Roof

“I spoke to Stepun Montgomery at the corp office in Knoxville. Please include the whole story before putting it out. This is our Official statement concerning the Flag:

‘’We appreciate you reaching out concerning this experience. We would proudly welcome the American flag at this location. After looking into this further, we found that the concerns were not with the flags themselves but with the safety of where they were placed as we need to make sure they don’t block the lines of sight of drivers pulling into our locations.’’
