Sheriff Thompson stated that the Wayne County Sheriff Drug Enforcement Unit seized a large quantity of Heroin from the pair on a traffic stop.  Each are charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver and Conspiracy to Distribute 10 to 100 grams of Heroin.

Both were on a list of five suspects wanted by the WCSO earlier this week. There has been no word on the remaining three suspects, all from Huntington.

During a separate investigation the Wayne County Sheriff Drug Enforcement Unit assisted Task Force West on a series of Controlled Buys from both William Cook and Rita Ferguson-Horner. Task Force West made (5) Oxycodone purchased from Rita and (1) Oxycodone purchase from William.

The West Virginia State Police arrested both suspects in the West end of Huntington for warrants issued from both investigations.
