Wayne Co. Sheriff catches heroin dealers ‘red handed’

PRICHARD, W.Va. — Wayne Co. Sheriff Rick Thompson announced today that the Wayne County Sheriff Drug Enforcement Unit arrested 2 men from Kentucky after they met with the buyer in the Prichard area.

CAUGHT RED HANDED: Charles "Chuck" Marcum, left, and Joshua Andrews were caught handing over the drugs by Wayne Co. Sheriff Rick Thompson and his drug fighting unite Sunday night at Prichard, W.Va.

 

The DEU watched a hand to hand Heroin transaction and interrupted it.

Heroin and cash were seized.

Charles ‘Chuck’ Marcum, 43, Lawrence Co., Ky.,  was charged with Delivery of a controlled substance, Possession with Intent to Deliver, and Conspiracy. Joshua Andrews, 30, also from Lawrence Co., Ky. was charged with Aiding and Abetting delivery of a controlled substance, Possession with Intent to Deliver, and Conspiracy. 

Both men were taken to the Southwestern Regional Jail and booked on December 3, 2017.

Sheriff Thompson was present with the Drug Enforcement Unit. Road patrol deputies assisted.
