Wayne County Sheriff Rick Thompson announced the arrest of Megan Webb and Robert Woods following an investigation by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department Drug Enforcement Unit.
Sheriff Thompson, who was present at the time of arrest, says that Webb, of the Fort Gay area of Wayne County, and Woods of Louisa, Ky. was arrested during a traffic stop in the Fort Gay community. During the stop, the DEU and Sheriff Thompson seized Crystal Methamphetamine, cash and digital scales.
Both Webb and Woods will face three felony charges which include Possession of Pseudoephedrine in an Altered State, Conspiracy, and Possession with Intent to Deliver. They were taken to the Western Regional Jail where they were booked and awaiting arraignment.
