Fort Gay, W. Va. — Tolsia senior volleyball player Aden Watts put pen to paper recently as she signed a National Letter of Intent to continue her academic and athletic career at Hollins University, a Division 3 private women’s school in Hollins, Virginia which is close to Roanoke.
Dad Dennis, Aden Watts, Tolsia Head Coach Jamie Lahoda and Mom Andrea.
Hollins went 9-16 last season and competes in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference.

The Lady Rebels had a great 2018 season which ended one game shy of the West Virginia Volleyball State Tournament. Watts played four years for the Tolsia Volleyball Team.

COACH’S COMMENTS

“…She is an outstanding player and the most coachable player I think I’ve ever had. She is one of the few that don’t complain about much and really has a heart for volleyball. It’s been a long four years but a great four years, and she’ll do great at the next level.”

PLAYER’S COMMENTS

“… After we reached the regional championship game this season and lost I relived what could have been, but the chance to play in college washed away some of that bitter taste.”

“… I think deciding to play in college is what really got me over it, honestly. When I made my verbal commitment a couple months ago it made dealing with that loss easier.”
