Fort Gay, W.Va. — After appearing in the Volleyball state tournament for just the second time in school history last season, the Tolsia Rebels are young and inexperienced but getting better each day according to head coach Andrea Prince.

The Rebels have played another grueling schedule and sit at 5-16 heading into a brutal stretch of away games against the likes of Spring Valley, Lawrence County, Tug Valley, Sherman, Buffalo, Man, Cabell Midland and then close out the regular season at Home versus Van for Senior night on October 26th.

COACH’S COMMENTS

“… Good group of girls who work hard everyday. It hasn’t been easy but they are getting better every time out on the court. I played pretty much the same schedule as last year and I think in the end it will help us out. We didn’t have much returning from the team that went to the state tournament last year and it’s been a work in progress. We are young and very inexperienced but you can see the growth.”
