Presley to Campbell connection clicks

Tolsia captains at Westside #33 Derek Meredith, #64 Jeb Evans, #73 Cameron Nichols, #21 Logan Presley

Clear Fork, W. Va. —  Tolsia ( 2-1 ) is known for it smash mouth style of offense, but it was the air attack that led the Rebels to a 16-6 victory at Class AA #12 Westside ( 2-2 ) on Friday night.

New Tolsia QB Logan Presley hit Brian Campbell on a 43 yard touchdown pass and then the two connected for the conversion to put the Rebels ahead 8-0 with 3:10 left in the first quarter.

Presley and Campbell connected once again on a 44 yard strike with under a minute left in the first quarter. Jordan Johnson hauled in the two point conversion pass from Presley to give the Rebels a 16-0 lead and that would be enough for Tolsia to get the big road win.

The Rebel defense was outstanding all night as they held the Renegades to under 100 yards of total offense. Tolsia defensive end Logan Roseberry was making his first career start and led the defense with 4.5 sacks on the night.

Tolsia will return to action next Friday night when they travel to rival Tug Valley ( 3-1 ) for a 7:30 tilt.
