Fort Gay, W.Va. — Recent Tolsia High School graduate Camree Meddings will join her sister and cheer for Alderson Broaddus University after signing on the dotted line recently.
Meddings’ sister Raygan is already a Battler cheerleader so joining her was an easy choice for Camree.
Alderson Broaddus is a Division 2 University in Philippi which is about 3 hours from Fort Gay and is known for putting together good squads each year.

Camree was also crowned Miss South Football Queen this past Saturday at South Charleston High school during the Annual North/South Football game.
She is going to pursue her bachelors degree in nursing.

“… Cheer has always been a part of my life and it was something that I knew I wasn’t ready to give up yet and when i was offered an opportunity to continue I knew I wanted it. I wanted to go to AB because of the great environment they have. They are all like one big family and i wanted something like I had at Tolsia.”

“ Being a student at Tolsia was the best four years of my life, at Tolsia you’re a part of one big family. I made friends for a lifetime. Being a cheerleader at Tolsia came with pressure. Tolsia has always been known for its great cheerleading program. So when it was my turn to step in, I knew I wanted to give it my all and leave everything on the floor each time we competed.”
