LAWRENCE COUNTY COMMUNITY CENTER IS SITE TO SIGN UP FOR $50,000 TRUCK DRIVING JOBS NOV. 14

{This company has indicated interest in locating a drop yard in our region. They are looking to hire about 25 people. The job fair that has the largest turnout will have an impact on their decision.

Please come to Lawrence Co. Job Fair on Tue. Nov. 14, at the Lawrence Co. Community Center, beginning at 9:00 am if you are interested in a job with this company. If the company should locate a site here, it would likely draw additional new business.

Eastern Kentuckians looking for a new job or career will have multiple chances to apply for jobs with national trucking company TLD Logistics on November 14 and 15.

The company, along with the Eastern Kentucky Concentrated Employment Program, Inc. (EKCEP) and Kentucky Career Center JobSight, will host the following events:

 

Tuesday, November 14
           9:00 a.m. – Lawrence County Community Center, 180 Bulldog Lane, Louisa KY 41230
           2:00 p.m. – Knott County Sportsplex, 450 Kenny Champion Loop, Leburn KY 41831

Wednesday, November 15
           9:00 a.m. – EKU Manchester Campus, 50 University Drive, Manchester KY 40962
           2:00 p.m. – Molus Pentecostal Church, US Highway 119, Harlan KY 40829

TLD is looking for both CDL and non-CDL licensed drivers to fill available over-the-road driving positions. No relocation is required. Positions offer an average salary of $50,000, plus safety bonuses, and a benefits package.

Company officials will be ready to answer questions and accept applications, so jobseekers should be bring an up-to-date résumé, social security card, and a valid driver’s license.
