Thelma Sue Whitt McGinnis, 64, of Blaine, KY passed away Thursday, July 11, 2019. Mrs. McGinnis was born February 6, 1955 in Inez, Kentucky to the late Mikie Whitt and Ruth Fay Whitt. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two sons, J.D. McGinnis and Chad McGinnis, and two brothers, Lester Whitt and Johnny Ray Whitt.

She is survived by her husband, Joe McGinnis; her mother Ruth Whitt; four sons, James Michael Whitt, Jason (Bonnie) McGinnis, Greg (Jeanette) McGinnis, and John McGinnis; one daughter, Angela (Dwayne) O’Brian; two brothers, Michael Dale (Margaret) Whitt and Freddy Dean (Shellie) Whitt; four sisters, Barbara (James Douglas) Muncy, Judy (Dallas) Spence, Kathy (Ron) Wicker, and Joyce (Rick) Osborn; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was retired from the Circuit Clerk Office and member of the Turkey Creek Church of the Nazarene.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Sunday, July 14, 2019 at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. James Douglas Muncy and Rev. Rick Osborn officiating. Burial will follow in Yatesville Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Saturday, July 13 from 6-9 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home.
