We cannot accept personal checks the last week of collections (April 12-April 15). Payments must be made with cash, money orders, certified checks, or credit/debit cards. (KRS 134.119(2))
If not paid, tax bills will be turned over to the County Clerk and be subject to a significant increase in penalties, interest and fees and may be acquired by a third party purchaser.

There is a 2.49% service fee for using a debit/credit card. This fee is charged by the processing company. The Sheriff’s Office receives no portion of this fee.
