Teddy G. Wilks, 73, of Webbville, KY went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 29, 2019 at his home.

Teddy was born October 13, 1946 in Louisa, KY to the late William and Bernice (Bishop) Wilks. Teddy was a carpenter and a well known gun builder and blacksmith. He was a Veteran, having proudly served his country in the Army.

In addition to his parents, Teddy was preceded in death by brothers William Ray Wilks and Phillip “Yunk” Wilks.

Survivors include Gloria Wilks, children Phillip (Susan) Wilks, Amiee Wilks, Charles (Erica) Wilks, Leeann (David) Hicks, and Teddy Austin Wilks; grandchildren Alex Wilks, Kayla Evans, Amaris Massoud, Marley Wilks, Rylee Joiner, Alex Joiner, Jacob Wilks, Emily Wilks, and Scout Wilks; siblings David Wilks, Sammy Wilks, Tommy (Anita) Wilks, Barbara Hewlett, and Judy (John) Robinette; several nieces and nephews and many special friends.

The family would like to thank Community Hospice for the care Teddy received.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Noah Wilks and Brother Neil Wilks officiating. Burial will follow in the Bishop Cemetery on Diamond Ridge.

Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Wilks.
