Sheriff Rick Thompson stated that a suspect was arrested by the Mingo County Sheriff’s Department and Williamson PD on felony warrants from Wayne County.
Sheriff Thompson stated that Steven Puckett was wanted for Felony Fleeing in a Vehicle and a Probation Revocation. Steven was on Probation for a conviction after a drug investigation by the Wayne County Sheriff Drug Enforcement Unit in 2019. Approximately 85 grams of Methamphetamine, other drugs, and a handgun were seized in the 2019 investigation.
