Sheriff Rick Thompson stated that a suspect was arrested today after a drug investigation by the Violent Crime and Drug Task Force West in the Elm Street area of Westmoreland.
Stephen Marks, of Huntington, is charged with (2) Counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance- Heroin.
During the investigation the Wayne County Sheriff Drug Enforcement Unit made several felony drug arrests believed to be connected to Stephen.
Sheriff Thompson stated that the Violent Crime and Drug Task Force West is made up of the WV State Police, U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency, Wayne County Sheriff’s Department, and Putnam County Sheriff’s Department. Steven was taken into custody by the Huntington Violent Crime and Drug Task Force.
