LOUISA, Ky. – The Sullivan University Center for Learning – Louisa will mark its first anniversary in Eastern Kentucky with a March 18 celebration that members of the community, local leaders and prospective students are invited to attend.
The celebration is scheduled March 18 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Center for Learning – Louisa, which is located at 122 S. Main Cross Street, adjacent to the Lawrence County Fiscal Court Building in Louisa. Festivities include tours of the Center, a welcome from Sullivan administrators, a raffle featuring a Sullivan University gift basket and cake and refreshments for visitors.
“It is an honor being a part of the wonderful community of Louisa and Sullivan University takes immense pride in helping our students pursue their education and career goals,” said E. Ann Moore, the Director of the Center for Learning-Louisa. “We hope everyone in the community stops by for a visit on March 18 to learn about Sullivan University and the many education programs and opportunities we offer our students.”
Currently 26 students attend the Center for Learning – Louisa with the first graduate student to begin classes in March. Programs students are currently enrolled in include accounting, management, information technology (IT), health information management, hotel & restaurant management, justice & public safety, management, human resources leadership and medical coding.
Sullivan offers discounted tuition for residents of Lawrence County as well as Pike, Floyd, Magoffin, Greenup, Boyd, Carter, Elliot, Martin and Morgan counties in Kentucky and Wayne County in West Virginia.
Based in Louisville, Sullivan University has been providing career-focused education for more than 50 years. Via an agreement arranged with Lawrence County Judge-executive John Osborne, Sullivan expanded to Eastern Kentucky by launching classes in Louisa in March of 2016.
Sullivan offers certificate, diploma, associates, bachelors, master’s and doctoral degrees in an array of programs that include supply chain management/logistics, pharmacy, nursing, medical programs, information technology, accounting, culinary, hospitality management, business and more.
