County Road Aid Emergency Funds approved for Lawrence County slide repair
LAWRENCE COUNTY (August 21, 2019) – As part of Governor Matt Bevin’s commitment to prioritize transportation infrastructure projects and increase economic opportunity across the Commonwealth, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) announced today that $24,250 in County Road Aid Emergency Funds has been awarded to the Lawrence County Fiscal Court. The money will be used for slide repair on CR 1043 (Old Fallsburg Road), 0.200 miles south of Yatesville Road at mile point 2.388.
The Lawrence County Fiscal Court is responsible for all phases of the work; the check for funding will be issued directly to the county.
