Fruit trees in danger, NWS says in memo
Hi all, on top of the winter weather threat late Saturday, just wanted to make you all aware that fruit trees, particularly peach trees could be significantly harmed due to temperatures in the low to mid 20s (they are ahead of schedule). Apple trees could be harmed starting at 23 degrees with severe damage at 15 degrees. This information was provided from the Kentucky weather agricultural center. Here is our forecast lows each night this coming week:
Tonight: 38-45
Friday Night: 20-25
Saturday Night: 20-25
Sunday Night: 20-25
Monday Night: 28-33
Tuesday Night: 17-22
