Silas Ray Ratliff

1925 – 2017

Silas Ray Ratliff, 91, of Louisa, Kentucky passed away Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa, Kentucky.

Silas was born July 25, 1925 in Ashland, Kentucky, a son of the late Paul and Esta Sparks Ratliff. 

Silas was a United States Navy Veteran of WWII, the  Korean War and Vietnam War and served his country honorably.

In addition to his parents Silas was preceded in death by his wife, Violet Henson Ratliff; two sisters, Helen Barker and Viola Hoolley; two brothers, John Floyd Ratliff and Emmit Ratliff.

Survivors include, four sons, Carnus (Sheila) Ratliff of Vacaville, California; John Paul Ratliff of National City, California; Rodney Ratliff of Louisa, Kentucky; Rickey Gene (Donna) Ratliff of Louisa, Kentucky; Several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.

There will be no services at this time.

Arrangements are being handled by Young Funeral Home.
