Shirley Marie Ramey Slone, 67, of Webbville, KY, departed this world to be with her Lord December 16, 2020, at her home after an extended illness.

Shirley was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

She is survived by two daughters, Sheila (Jeremy) Marcum of Webbville, KY, and Betty (Terry) Hinkle of Ashland, KY; and one son, James Brandon (Laticia) Slone of Spring Hill, FL; three grandsons, Austin (Autumn) and Dustin Marcum and Gavin Fairchild; three granddaughters, Madison and Laiken Moore and Marena Fairchild; one great-grandson, Houston Marcum; two sisters, Betty Riley and Nancy (Bill) Griffith; two brothers, Homer (Virgie) and Freddie (Anna) Ramey; and a host of family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Proctor “Prock” and Hazel Stewart Ramey. Shirley was a member of Cherokee Enterprise Baptist Church and loved her church family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Due to COVID regulations, there will be a private service, with Brothers Buell Webb and Bobby Fultz officiating. Burial will follow in Webbville Cemetery.

Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
