SHERIFF THOMPSON’S MEN SOLVE CATALYTIC CONVERTER THEFT CASES IN WAYNE COUNTY

Sheriff Rick Thompson stated that two men were arrested during an investigation for stealing catalytic converters.

Sheriff Thompson stated that Edward ‘Eddie’ Aliff II, of East Lynn, and Adam Workman, of Lavalette, stole catalytic converters from a vehicle parked at a church in the Spring Valley area and a DOH vehicle.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle Aliff was driving in the  Rt 75 area and during the stop Aliff was in possession of three cut catalytic converters.

Both are charged with (2) counts of tampering with a motor vehicle, conspiracy,, and felony destruction of property.

Aliff is additionally charged with (3l counts of possession of catalytic converters amd driving while revoked for dui.

 

The investigation solved several catalytic converter theft cases in the Huntington area as well.
