Martha Williams, shown here at SCHS graduation.INEZ, KY – The Sheldon Clark High School School Based Decision Making Council met in an open meeting this morning to name Martha Williams as the new principal of Sheldon Clark High School (SCHS).

Martha Williams is moving into the principal position at the beginning of the school year after a successful ten years as the ATC administrator. Ms. Williams has been an educator for 21 years, with all of those years in the Martin County School District.

We want to welcome her to her new role!

(Note: Ms. Williams takes over for the retiring Dr. Lonnie Laney, who led the high school from the bottom to the top in test scores in his three years at SC after one year as principal at LCHS and two years of advanced math teaching there.
