COACH’S COMMENTS

“… It’s been a great year. We exceeding everyone’s expectations this year. A lot of people said we wouldn’t win 10 games. So to win 26 games, a District Championship it’s been a blast. This team has been through a bunch this year with injuries and hospital visits.

“… We didn’t play our best today but give them credit they played well and won the ballgame.  I’m glad the last play was on me I took a chance and it was a close play.”

“… You don’t have seniors like Amber and Abby very often. We are going to miss them a ton. They have both been an asset to us for a long time. Abby is the best catcher that I have ever had and I know that’s tough to say because I have had a few. We are almost in tune when the game is going on. With Amber whatever position I ask her to play she doesn’t bat an eye she always gives 100%. Very dedicated and the two best seniors I have ever had without a doubt.”
