Shawn Murphy, 37, of Independence, KY passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at his home. Shawn was born October 2, 1982 in Marion, Ohio to Richard Preston and Jodie Short.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Michelle Murphy; one son; Zane T. Murphy; and two daughters, Dakota L. Murphy and Teagan B. Murphy, siblings Megan Cyrus, Adam (Beth) Preston, Jess (Tim) Toews, Kristy (Shawn) Jakeway; grandparents Howard and Alma Preston, and by many nieces and nephews .
He was a Laborer for Norfolk & Southern Railroad.
Friends may visit the family on Sunday, December 1 from 3-6 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home. 1270 Highway 2565, Louisa, KY 41230.
