Sharon Kay Ferguson 75 of Blaine, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on April 10, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.

Sharon was born July 26, 1947 in Louisa, Kentucky the daughter of the late Allen and Pauline Bradley Roberts. She along with her husband were longtime missionaries with the Free Will Baptist Association. She was also a Registered Nurse.

Survivors include her loving husband Ledgel Ferguson; a brother Mike Roberts and wife Eileen; two nieces Shawna Young and husband Eddie; and Stephanie Gifford and husband Donald; and a host of Great Nieces and Nephews and a large host of close friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday April 14th at 1:00 pm at the Cherokee Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. David Boggs and Rev. Gary Sparks officiating. Burial will follow in the Yatesville Memorial Gardens at Louisa, Kentucky.

Friends may visit the family on Thursday evening from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Cherokee Free Will Baptist Church.

Pallbearers are Cole Brammer, Micah Adams, Tyruss Adams, Brayden Boggs, Issac Boggs, Ryland Yoak, and Landon Yoak.

Honorary Pallbearers are Shannon Boggs, Scotty Boggs, Craig Brammer, and Elijah Adams.

In lieu of flowers family would donations be made to Community Hospice at 1480 Carter Ave. Ashland, Kentucky or the Alzheimer’s Association at 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl 17, Chicago, IL 60601.

Care for Sharon and her family has been entrusted to our family at Wilson Funeral Home.
