On Friday March 11, 2022, at 11 AM the Lawrence County Senior Citizens ate lunch with Lawrence County official’s. Judge-Executive Phil Carter talked with the group and let Seniors know they can contact any of the LC Officials if they need food and to check on neighbors often.

Everyone had lunch and dessert then started the games…..Bingo that is. Judge Carter and County Attorney Brad Derifield helped seniors out in Bingo by calling out the numbers. Nice gifts were given out to the Seniors who won Bingo.

This Senior Citizen Event was hosted by “A Ray of Hope” by Susie New and Tamera New. This is an event that hasn’t been done in a few years because of Covid. The event was sponsored by Judge-Executive Phil Carter, Deputy-Judge Vince Doty, County Clerk Chris Jobe, County Attorney Brad Derifield, Sheriff Chuck Jackson and Deputy Mason Keefer.

Senior’s enjoying Bingo.

Thank You to those involved in helping the senior citizens. On another note it doesn’t look like the sheriff department miss many meals.
