Ruth Ann Parsley

1939 – 2017

Ruth Ann Jordan-Parsley, 77 of Warfield passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2017 at her home.

                                                 

Mrs. Parsley was born on September 10, 1939 in Louisa to the late Arthur and Arabelle Sargent-Jordan. She was a homemaker and attended the Hode Church of God.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by three husbands Elmer Wilks, John Everett Wilks and Ellis Parsley; three brothers Jerry Jordan, James Hatfield and Wilbur Jordan.

She leaves behind a loving family including two daughters and their spouses Deloris (Terry Johnson) Wilks of Louisa and Angalia (Nick Bazell) Wilks of Coal Grove, Ohio; two grandchildren Rhene (John) Childers of Louisa and John Braxton Thompson of Coal Grove, Ohio; three great grandchildren Owen, Aadeen and Conner Childers all of Louisa.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 pm on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at the Young Funeral Home Chapel, burial will follow at the Jordan Cemetery in Louisa.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 from 6-9 pm at the Young Funeral Home.
