Ruby Watts, 100, of Fort Gay, WV went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at her home. Ruby was born April 12, 1918 in Wayne County, WV to the late William and Stella Watts. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a lifelong member of the Fort Gay United Methodist Church.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Edith Brewer and Hazel Scott Edwards.

Survivors include her sisters Lois Hewlett of Georgetown, KY, Madge McCloud of Louisa, KY and Treva Short of Louisa, KY; a host of nieces and nephews; and a special caregiver Cecil Pauley. 

Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, September 3, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kyle Peake officiating. Burial will follow in the Fort Gay Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family on Monday from 11:00 AM until time of service. 

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Ms. Watts.
