Roger Lyons 

1953 — 2017

Roger Lyons, 64, of Lowmansville, KY went to be with the Lord on Dec. 3, 2017.

Roger is survived by his wife Christa Crum Lyons, two sons Roger Lyons of Lowmansville, KY and Eddie Lyons (Andrea) of Fort Gay, WV as well as three beloved grandchildren Dylan Vanhoose, Ava Lyons and Ashby Lyons. Four sisters; Jean (Francis) Rice of Louisa, KY, Sue (Paul) Keener of Westerville, OH, Kay (Kenny) Lyons of Louisa, Debbie (Joey) Johnson of Flat Gap, KY, and one brother, Homer Lee (Sue) Lyons of Lowmansville, KY, a sister-in-law Kay Lyons, brother-in-law Joe Castle, and mother-in-law Jan Crum of Louisa, KY.

Roger is preceded in death by a sister Janet Castle and a brother Ralph Lyons.

Roger was happiest watching his grandchildren, around anything concerning ball or picking the guitar. He enjoyed working as a logger and was always willing to help anyone in the community who will greatly miss him.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday Dec. 7, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Meades Branch FWB Church with Rev. Jimmie Bevins and Rev. Darrin Rice officiating. Burial will follow in the Lyons Cemetery at Lowmansville, KY.

Friends may visit the family on Wednesday from 4:00pm to 9:00pm at the Wilson Funeral Home.

Care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
