Robert Keith Black “Harv” left  his earthly home on Friday, October 18, 2024.

Keith was born February 8, 1955 to the late Elmer and Ethel (Meredith) Black.

Keith was a 1973 graduate of Buffalo High School and retired from Norfolk & Southern Railroad.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his great grandson Brantley David.

Survivors include his partner of 23 years Wenona “Nona” Saville; sons Bryan Keith (Alma) Black and Matthew Shane (Ericka) Black; grandchildren Brady Keith, Christian Tanner (Hali), Bailee Rena, Sydnee Nicole, and Derick Matthew “Debo”; great grandson Bentley Michael;  brother Gary (Judy) Black; sisters Connie (Danny) Wellman and Lisa (Randy) Perry; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Harv was blessed with time spent in his garage with family and friends. Thank you to his very special friend David Wellman.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, October 24, 2024 at 2:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Tim Preston and Linwood Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in the Smith Cemetery in Prichard. Pallbearers will be Dave Wellman, Allen Copley, Steve Stroud, Steve Daniels, Todd Moran, and Brian Murphy, with Honorary Pallbearer Brownie Murphy.

Friends may visit the family Thursday, October 24, 2024 from 11:00 AM until time of service in the Young Funeral Home Chapel.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Black and his family.
