Robert “Bob” Leonard Michael

Robert “Bob” Leonard Michael, 87, of Louisa, passed away December 28, 2016 at his residence.

Mr. Michael was born April 19, 1929, in Kenova, WV to the late William “Bill” and Blanch (Frazier) Michael. Bob was also preceded in death by his wife Virginia I. (New) Michael and a brother, Joe Michael.

Bob was retired from the Norfolk and Western Railroad and received a United Nations and Korean Service Medal for his term in the U.S. Army.

Bob is survived by three sons, Eddie Wayne (Sue) Michael, James Robert Michael and William David (Cindy) Michael, all of Louisa; 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren, one brother, Ralph Michael of Ft. Gay, WV.

Visitation will be from 6p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Young Funeral Home in Louisa and a graveside service will be at 1 p.m. on Sunday, January 1, 2017 at Greenlawn Cemetery.
