Robert Allen Williams, 73, of Louisa, KY passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at his home.

Mr. Williams was born August 28, 1947, in Blaine, Kentucky to the late Ray and Juanita Ison Williams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Bill Williams.

He is survived by his wife, Charlene Williams; one son, Chad (Patricia) Williams; one daughter, Kelli (Eddie) Dixon; one sister, Norma Miller; two granddaughters, Mallori Dixon and Remy Williams; and two grandsons, Blaine Williams and Tucker Dixon.

Bob was a retired educator with twenty-seven years of service and a Vietnam Veteran, 1970, with the 101st Airborne Division, Alpha CO 3rd/187th Infantry.

Bob proudly played for the Blaine Wildcats basketball team and received a scholarship to play college basketball for the Austin Peay Governors. He was very involved in the community coaching hundreds of players in baseball and basketball. He loved hunting, fishing, traveling, reading, spending time with family, playing cards, talking to everyone, telling stories, and serving his country. He loved his grandkids and wouldn’t miss their sporting events for anything. Bob had a big heart, a big smile, a big hug for everyone and he lived life to the fullest.

A memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 PM on Saturday, July 3, 2021, at Wilson Funeral with Pastor David Boggs officiating.

Friends may visit the family on Saturday, July 3 from 1:00 PM until the time of services at Wilson Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the Wounded Warrior Project.

All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.

Note:  Several have asked for Charlene’s mailing address.
