Richard Lee Dotson II “Lee” 42 of Fort Gay, WV passed away Friday Sept. 3, 2021, at his home following an extended illness.

Lee was born March 6, 1979, in Huntington, WV the son of Richard and Rhonda McKinzie Dotson. He was an Ironworker and loved his family and the outdoors.

Survivors include his parents Richard and Rhonda Dotson; a daughter Amelia Dotson; two sisters Sara (Nathan) Fields and Mary (Matthew) Shannon; his Significant Other Teresa Leffel; a niece Ashley Fields, and nephews Ethan Fields, Blayne Fields, Gavin Shannon and Walton Shannon.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday September 5th at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Damron officiating. Burial will follow in the Lynch Cemetery on Saltpetre Road Fort Gay, WV.

Friends may visit the family on Sunday September 5th from 11:00 am until time of services at the Wilson Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Hospice of Huntington or the Louisa Methodist Church in memory of Lee Dotson.

Care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
