Rev. Paul Cox, 79, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 23, 2019. 

Rev. Cox was born September 30, 1940 to Sheridan and Ollie Elmira Workman Cox in Louisa, KY.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Carolyn Cox, two daughters, Kimberly (Shirley) Ball and Paula (Roger) Lambert, two sons, Mike (Melissa) Cox and Mark (Kelly) Cox, one sister, Sue Steele, and three brothers, Pete, Richard, and Edward Cox.  He also leaves behind, ten grandchildren, Megan, Travis, Jeremy, Morgan, Craig, Paige, Devyn, Noah, Lara Jo, Ethan, six great-grandchildren, Blake, Olivia, Liam, Rylee, Ava, and Lennon.

Rev. Cox was a member of Morgans Creek FWB Church.  He was a minister for forty-four years and pastored at Flatwoods FWB, Campbell Drive FWB, Mt. Zion FWB, England Hill FWB, and Morgans Creek FWB.  He loved horses and working on the farm.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday, October 27th at 1 pm at Wilson Funeral Home with Revs. Larry Maynard, Glen Vanhoose, and Roger Jordan officiating.  Burial will follow in the Catalpa FWB Cemetery. 

Friends may visit the family on Saturday, October 26th. After 6 pm at Wilson Funeral Home. 

All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
