Louisa woman needs her car to make trips to visit sick husband…
{The following story is a plea to the community of Louisa to help in any way possible . Donna Fluty is a retired nurse who helped deliver many children in this area. I KNOW THAT THiS COMMUNITY CAN HELP.}
As most of you know by now, my mother’s car was stolen on Friday around 9:30 pm by an unnamed repeat juvenile offender; right out of her own driveway in Louisa, KY. The car nor the individual responsible have been located and no new information is available.
To most people, this may not seem like a big deal but to our family; it is. To be perfectly clear, when someone steals a car with liability insurance; you lose your car. You are not paid for it and nothing can be done. It is a total loss. The thief’s guardians will have to be sued and likely have no money to pay the judgment.
In addition to this, if the car is found; my mother will be responsible for the impound and tow fees as well as any damage to the car on top of legal fees.
This is NOT right and I personally will not stand for this.
My family works too hard for the things we have for an ill-parented degenerate with no conscience to come along and steal the only car my mother owned with no consideration whatsoever as to what she may already be dealing with.
As I said in my previous post; My dad is sick and has been wasting away at UK hospital for the past month and a half awaiting a bone marrow transplant. The doctor sent him home this week for a break from chemo before the transplant takes place. My mom is his main help and has dropped everything to be by his side 24/7 right now.
We just spent $500.00 to put new parts on this car less than a week ago so that my mom could drive it to and from UK and to take my dad for his blood transfusions until transplant. I want the people responsible for this to understand that you haven’t just stolen a car, you’ve created a mess for a family that is barely keeping our heads above water as it is. You should be ashamed of yourself and I hope that if your family is ever struggling, people treat you better than you’ve treated us.
Instead of asking for donations or a bailout, we want to make a bigger impact by spreading positivity and love. My mother has sold Christian yard signs many times for 0 profit out of the kindness of her heart. We think this is the best way to combat crime and show our love for God throughout our little town at the same time.
If you’d like to purchase a “Thank You Jesus” yard sign to replace the negativity spread by this criminal with Christian love, please message any of us and we will write your name down. Each sign will be $15.00 and the order will be placed on June 25th. $7.00 of each purchase will be put into a fund for my mother and will be used specifically for the replacement of her car and/or any fees associated with its return.
