COACH’S COMMENTS
“… So happy for our kids, my coaching staff and our fans. Great win for our team. I thought we really played hard in the second half. Big confidence boost for our kids.”
“… We didn’t have a great practice yesterday after being off for Christmas and I was a little worried coming into this game for sure. I thought we controlled the tempo and rebounding well and that was a couple things I mentioned in pre game. David Dingess had a break out and that was a welcome site. We have been waiting on that. Dylan Dawson played hard and is our team leader. I tell him everyday that these kids feed off of him. You play hard and they will play hard.”
“… We got our hands on a bunch of basketballs tonight and that what we have to do. We have to get out into the passing lanes and disrupt them. We are undersized and have to make up for that in other areas. Julian Vance came off the bench and gave us a boost, Ben Clayton gave us good minutes, Eli Blackburn instant offense as well.”
“… We shot the ball better from the foul line tonight as well, only missed one and we had really been struggling all year.”
“… We go to Sherman Thursday and that will be another challenge for us. They are undefeated right now and then we play Man and Martin Co. next week. We will be battle tested that’s for sure”
