Rebecca “Becky” Gilmore Day, 86, Louisa, KY passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at the Georgetown Community Hospital.

Mrs. Day was born January 9, 1932 in Christopher, KY to the late Alivia and Sally Eversole Gilmore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Day, one son, Steven Day, and a son-in-law Lloyd Nye and a brother Kelly Day.

She is survived by a son, Larry (Cris) Day of Kissimmee, Florida, two daughters, Sharon Nye of Georgetown, KY and Darlene (Larry Gambill) Cyr of Flatwoods, KY; three half-sisters, four half-brothers, along with five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Mrs. Day was a member of the Fort Gay Baptist Church and a retired receiving clerk.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, December 1st at Wilson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Yatesville Memorial Garden, Louisa, KY.

Friends may visit the family on Saturday, December 1st after 11:00 am at Wilson Funeral Home.

All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
